As the end of the school year is coming around, slots have become open for starting second year students to make an attempt to join a Journeyman Group. Journeyman Groups are an encouraged tradition of the school where each group consists of one instructor and a second year student of each degree field (warrior, mage, thief), to journey to a distant shore or city which is in need of a hero.

Once on the field, the students are free to wander on their own, build up their skills, and get real world adventuring experience, usually checking back in with their instructor every few days or so. The length of a Journeyman Group's Journey is usually one semester (3 months). However, most Journeyman instructors may decide to be a preliminary examination of potential Journeyman students prior to leaving the Academy.

If being a member of a Journeyman Group sounds like the kind of rewarding experience you may be interested in, then don't hesitate and sign up at the Academy's Hall of Heroes!

Brigand activity outside the city perimeters of Mollis Undo has had a surge of brigand activity as of late. We advise all students to be careful, and to travel in groups when venturing outside the city gates. Current information says that the desert expanse to the east is relatively brigand free, so the desert crossing final exam for first year students should not need to be rescheduled.

The coastline at night is also particularly dangerous at this time due to increased acts of piracy. Students are recommended to not venture at night outside the city gates for the time being. It is also the mating season for the southern wyverns, so poison antidotes are in high demand.

The Local Coliseum in Mollis Undo is always open for our warrior students to try their luck in a night of combat. The Coliseum does have its own healers on staff, so any injury is bound to not be mortal; however it is still all students', both spectators and participants, responsibility to report to class on time.

Those that do wish to participate would be hardpressed to defeat the current champion, our own Arrichion Val, who has had a winning streak that's months long.
